The choir rehearses at Moss Hall School, Nether Street, West Finchley, N3 from 7.45pm to 9.45 pm every Monday during term time. Our three main concerts take place in November, March and June of each year. Each December we give a highly enjoyable carol concert, with hot punch and mince pies, generally in collaboration with a local primary school.

We frequently sing with professional soloists and a full orchestra

We have regular training and workshop sessions with well-known coaches such as conductor/composer Bob Chilcott and soprano Rachel Nichol.

We hold social events throughout the year; quiz evenings, Dutch auctions and carol singing and a meal at a local restaurant at Christmas. In the past the choir has participated in overseas tours, most recently in France.

Visitors wanting to find out more are welcome to attend a rehearsal with no obligation. Spare music scores will be available to borrow for the evening and established members will be ready to look after visitors and answer questions.

Should you wish to join you will be expected to undertake a simple voice test and, if accepted, will have the option of paying the membership fee either termly or for a full year. We are looking for people with tuneful voices who are keen to reach a high standard of choral singing. Previous experience is not necessary and the ability to read music is helpful but not essential. It is possible to obtain tapes to assist in learning difficult pieces.

Current fees are £130 per annum or £50 per term. There is no membership fee for full-time students.
